local delivery — southern maine
container trees and potted plants are available for local delivery within york and cumberland counties, maine. delivery is free on orders over $150 within the portland metro area (portland, south portland, westbrook, scarborough, falmouth, cape elizabeth). a flat $30 delivery fee applies to orders under $150 within the portland metro area, and to all other addresses within york and cumberland counties.
we deliver friday through sunday. after placing your order we’ll reach out within 48 hours to confirm a delivery window. most deliveries are drop-and-go — we leave your order at the door with a care card. for large or heavy orders we may request someone be available to receive.
orders of 7 or more container plants may incur an additional delivery fee. we’ll confirm before fulfilling.
professional installation is available for an additional quote. reply to your order confirmation email if you’d like us to plant your trees.
container trees are not available for shipping outside our local delivery zone.
november bareroot sale — nationwide shipping
once a year in november we open our field beds for a one-time bareroot sale. bareroot bundles are available for shipping nationwide via usps priority mail or ups ground. shipping is calculated at checkout based on bundle size and destination.
bareroot orders ship during the november sale window only. orders placed outside this window will be held and fulfilled when the sale opens.
local pickup
pickup at the nursery in alfred, maine is available by appointment. contact us to arrange a time.
order fulfillment policy
local delivery orders must confirm a delivery window within 30 days of purchase. after 30 days of non-response we will make one delivery attempt to your address on file. if the delivery cannot be completed, store credit will be issued. no cash refunds after 30 days.
bareroot orders are packed carefully in moist material for transit. if your order arrives damaged or in poor condition contact us within 48 hours with photos and we will make it right.
