tree planting
our specialty, and the reason this page exists. we grow our own stock and we plant it — but we’ll also source from local nursery partners when the project calls for something larger, older, or different than what we have in available. either way, you’re getting someone who understands trees from seed to installation.
before we dig: site evaluation. drainage, grade, compaction, light, long-term spacing. a tree in the wrong spot is a problem you inherit for decades. we’ll tell you honestly if something won’t work.
on planting day: proper handling, correct depth, backfill, establishment watering, and a clear picture of what the tree needs in its first season. we’ve hand-moved 32-inch rootballs up stone staircases. if it can be done without a crane, we can do it.

for trees sourced elsewhere, we’re happy to quote delivery/installation separately.

overgrown garden rescue
not our primary offering, but something we’re good at and occasionally take on.
you know the corner of the property that got away from you — the shrubs that haven’t been touched in eight years, the bed where the bishop’s weed won, the weeping something-or-other that’s now a solid wall of stems and deadwood. we’ll assess it honestly: what’s worth saving, what needs to come out, what needs hard pruning back into shape. ornamental shrubs, small trees, hedgerows, mixed beds in various states of chaos.
this is a one-time intervention, not an ongoing relationship. we clear it, prune it, give it a fighting chance — and leave you with something manageable again.
